Impellers are at the heart of the compressor. Each impeller is part of a stage that is selected to meet performance requirements, based on aerodynamic performance (which is evaluated by a combination of one-dimensional (1D) and computational fluid dynamic (CFD) tools) and their Mechanical Integrity (evaluated by Finite Element Analysis - FEA). Adlam Engineering offers Radial, Axial and Centrifugal Compressor Impellers with sizes up to 800mm diameter, made of various high quality material such as 17-4PH (ANSI 410), ANSI 4130/4140 (EN19) or ANSI 4330//4340 (EN24), as per customers requirements.

Gear units are used to transmit power from a prime mover (motor) to the driven equipment. The Power is transmitted through gear sets, which gives the gear units a major Mechanical advantage. Wet High Intensity Magnetic Separator (WHIMS) are designed for high capacity, continuous removal of a concentration of delicate magnetic materials. Adlam Engineering offers our expertise towards the full refurbishment of such a WHIMS unit. This includes refurbishment and engineering of the structure, mechanical components, pipe-work, catcher and nozzle boxes, cooling system and electrical work. Our After-Sales Service Team can also assist in full assembly and cold-commissioning once delivered. Typical applications of a WHIMS unit include hematite iron, rare earth minerals, industrial minerals and more.

Customized Gears, Shafts, Pinions and other items can be manufactured according to Customer specification. In cases where no drawings are available, we can measure the item and our Mechanical Engineers in our Research and Development Department can reverse engineer the data, and supply the required drawings. The parts are manufactured from high quality material grades and heat treated accordingly.
